Since I have had a little time off from photo shoots lately, I have been working on stockpiling some new props and backdrops.

A couple of weeks ago after work, I traveled over to Paper Crown and had Jay help me cut out a bunch of different sized word bubbles from some spare wood. Upon getting them home, I painted each piece with some chalkboard paint and then painted a few wooden rods that I got from Michaels and attached them to the word bubbles. The result? Some sweet new props!

I love these things. I am looking forward to doing some fun shoots with them in the future…I’m thinking engagement photos…or even maternity shoots – oh the possibilities!
