I hit a prolonged spurt of creativity last Friday night. While Matt watched a really terrible movie, I designed away and came up with not one…not two…but SIX new skateboard designs! My Zazzle Store now features twelve different skateboard designs, which I’m pretty proud of. My goal for this month and next is to get my Zazzle store stocked with some cool stuff. For now, I’m starting with the skateboards since that’s where I first began.

I don’t want to get ahead of myself and start more projects since I have so many already started that I haven’t finished. I just let my excitement and thoughts get away from me a lot of the time. I guess I’ve always been that way though. I shouldn’t be surprised.

I think I have, what I like to call, Creative ADD. Or CADD. I can’t keep my focus on one creative project at a time. I get bored and I am always finding the need to focus my attention elsewhere, even when I haven’t finished the first 5 projects I started. It’s not that I never want to finish the other projects, it’s just that I get so excited for my NEW project that I can’t focus on the current project. It’s a terrible disease…..it makes it really hard to get anything done.

So that’s where my goal for the next two months comes in. My goal is to finish what I started. To stock my Zazzle and Etsy stores with as much merchandise as I can. Mostly coming from ideas that I have had for months…or even years that I haven’t had a chance to put out there. PLUS, there are many paintings I still need to finish up and get online.

So, if you all don’t hear from me for a while…it’s probably because I’m busy working my little tail off getting all this stuff done. I know I can do it….I just need to keep focused. It’s a little easier then it was a few weeks ago since Matt has started working Sunday-Wednesday from 10-9. It gives me PLENTY of free time to do what I need to do….but I do get lonely sometimes.
